El objetivo de la investigación fue evaluar durante cinco meses en vivero el desarrollo de plantas micropropagadas-aclimatizadas de Agave potatorum Zucc las que se fertirrigaron con cantidades diferentes de nutrimentos. En el periodo 2013-2014, un total de 210 plantas micropropagadas se establecieron individualmente en macetas de 300 cm3 con sustrato que fue una mezcla 1:1 en volumen de perlita y turba, se aclimatizaron durante 60 días en invernadero y 60 días en vivero. Las plantas aclimatizadas, homogéneas en tamaño, se separaron en seis grupos de 35 plantas, para aplicar a cada grupo fertirriego con una concentración diferente (1, 20, 40, 60, 80 y 100%) de nutrimentos, de la solución universal de Steiner. Diariamente durante los días 121 a 270 se fertirrigaba cada planta con 10 mililitros a nivel de sustrato. Al término del periodo, los datos mostraron que las plantas alcanzaron mayor tamaño conforme se fertirrigaron con dosis crecientes de nutrimentos, de tal manera que las plantas fertirrigadas con 1 y 100% tuvieron 9.8 y 17 hojas, 126.53 y 392.35 cm2 de área foliar, 2.22 y 2.84 cm de diámetro del tallo, 10.5 y 17.4 raíces primarias, 4 y 7.4 cm3 de volumen de raíz, 2.79 y 6.50 g de peso seco foliar, respectivamente.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The Agave potatorum Zucc, is a wild species collected in the field to produce a distilled beverage called mezcal, and not enough is known about their agronomic management and nutritional needs. The aim of the research was to evaluate breeding ground for five months in the development of micropropagated-acclimatized plants Agave potatorum Zucc which fertirrigaron with different amounts of nutrients. In the period 2013-2014, a total of 210 micro-propagated plants were established individually in pots of 300 cm3 with substrate was a 1:1 by volume perlite and peat were acclimatized for 60 days and 60 days greenhouse nursery. The acclimatized plants, uniform in size, split into six groups of 35 plants, to apply to each fertigation group with a different concentration (1, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100%) of nutrients, universal solution Steiner. Daily on days 121-270 each plant is fertigate with 10 milliliters substrate level. At the end of the period, the data showed that the plants reached larger as they fertigation with increasing doses of nutrients, so plants fertigation 1 and 100% were 9.8 and 17 leaves, 126.53 and 392.35 cm2 of leaf area, 2.22 and 2.84 cm stem diameter, 10.5 and 17.4 taproots, 4 and 7.4 cm3 volume root, 2.79 and 6.50 g of leaf, dry weight, respectively.]]></p></abstract>
