<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2007-07052018000200655&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2007-07052018000200655&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2007-07052018000200655&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  Introducción En el actual contexto de negocios, una empresa debe posicionarse de forma más efectiva ante sus consumidores, por ello, empresas de diferentes actividades y tamaños están integrando el comercio electrónico a sus procesos de negocio y así poder aprovechar los beneficios que ofrece, entre los cuales destacan la eliminación de barreras relacionadas con el tiempo y el espacio, pero como cualquier actividad comercial, no está exenta de inconvenientes, que en cierta forma pueden inhibir su uso. Por lo cual, desde el punto de vista de la aceptación tecnológica se busca analizar de forma completa como por grupos, la influencia de sus constructos asociados y de variables externas que se consideran relevantes para medir dicho comportamiento, como lo son la confianza y control percibido en personas que usan o tienen la intención de usarlo como medio de compra.  Método El proceso seguido consistió en una revisión de la literatura en el área de la aceptación, la confianza y control percibido en el uso de Internet como medio de compra realizado entre empresas y consumidores finales, lo que permitió justificar las hipótesis planteadas y diseñar un cuestionario. El levantamiento de los datos fue en la zona centro y sur del estado de Tamaulipas, México, a través de un muestro no probabilístico por conveniencia. Se aplicaron 234 cuestionarios a personas mayores de 18 años. Para su análisis se utilizó la herramienta estadística de mínimos cuadrados parciales (PLS), una técnica de modelado de ecuaciones estructurales basada en la varianza que permite probar y validar modelos con una tendencia de predicción.  Resultados La evidencia señala la relevancia de la actitud de compra y su intención como precedente de adopción del comercio electrónico. Asimismo, la confianza es antecedente de la intensión de uso del comercio electrónico e influye en la utilidad percibida, mientras que el control percibido mantiene una relación positiva tanto en la facilidad de uso, como en la intención de uso. Sin embargo, es necesario que las empresas centren su atención en el diseño de sitios de Web fáciles de entender y de usar, con el propósito de que la actitud de los usuarios sea siempre positiva. Por otra parte, lo obtenido en el análisis multigrupo indica la carencia de diferencias significativas en cuanto a la opinión por sexo del fenómeno estudiado.  Discusión o Conclusión La confianza y el control percibido son variables a tomar en cuenta ya que influyen de manera relevante en la intensión de uso o uso actual del comercio electrónico. Sin embargo, los resultados muestran la existencia de áreas de oportunidad en el ámbito empresarial, requeridas para la creación o mejora de actividades de compra-venta de productos o servicios realizadas por medio del comercio electrónico.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Introduction In the current business context, a business must position itself a most effective way before its customers, this is why companies of different types and sizes are integrating e-commerce into their business processes. But as any commercial activity is not free from inconveniences, which in some way can inhibit its use, therefore, from the point of view of technological acceptance this study intends to contribute with empirical evidence of variables associated with it, including the inclusion of perceived trust and control and a multi-group analysis to see in greater detail the possible influence of gender.  Method The procedure consisted of a review of the specialized literature on technological acceptance, trust and perceived control in the use of the Internet as a means of purchase, to justify the hypotheses and design a questionnaire. The data were collected in the south-central area of &#8203;&#8203;the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico, through a sampling for convenience. 234 questionnaires were applied to individuals greater 18 years old. For its analysis, the statistical technique of partial least squares (PLS) was applied, in addition to a technique of modeling structural equations based on the variance that allows testing and validating the proposed model.  Results Evidence indicates the relevance of purchasing behavior and its intention as a precedent for the adoption of electronic commerce. In addition, trust is the antecedent of the intention to use e-commerce and influences on the perceived utility, while perceived control positively influences both ease and intention of use. On the other hand, the multi-group analysis indicates the lack of significant differences in opinions by gender.  Discussion or Conclusion Trust and perceived control are variables to be considered since they can have a relevant influence on the intensity of current use or use of e-commerce. However, results show the existence of areas of opportunity in business required for the creation or improvement of sale activities, products or services operations made through this technological medium.]]></p></abstract>
