El objetivo general del trabajo fue conocer el estado del arte que guardan los Museos del Chocolate en Europa, asumiéndoles como productos culturales. Los resultados destacan la relevancia de este continente como poseedor de la tradición museológica mediterránea, sede de los primeros museos del mundo y en este caso, como el territorio que posee el mayor número y los más antiguos museos del chocolate, al sumar un total de 53, distribuidos en 20 países.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article is a product of literature review, based on an international research on four aspects: product and cultural tourism, museums and museum marketing. The general objective of the work was to know the state of the art of the Chocolate Museums in Europe, assuming them as cultural products. The results highlight the relevance of this continent as the holder of the Mediterranean museological tradition, home of the first museums in the world and in this case, as the territory with the largest number and the oldest museums of chocolate, adding a total of 53 , Distributed in 20 countries.]]></p></abstract>
