Los denominados nanojets en micro esferas dieléctricas también son estudiados, los cuales son una región volumétrica sub-longitudinal de luz de alta intensidad de campo localizada cerca de la esfera. La excitación de los modos WGM en esferas dieléctricas son observados como picos en la sección eficaz del esparcimiento total. Bajo condiciones de excitación, el modo se comporta como una onda que se propaga a lo largo de la circunferencia y dentro de la esfera, pero su intensidad está altamente confinada a su superficie.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The light diffraction associated to excitation of whispering gallery modes in dielectric spheres or nanoparticles is studied theoretically. The named nanojets in dielectric micro spheres are also studied, these are a sub-wavelength volumetric regions of high light field intensity located near to the sphere. The excitation WGM for dielectric spheres are observed as peaks in the total scattering cross section. Under excitation condition, the modes are behaved as waves which are propagating along the circumference, but in the sphere, its intensity is highly confined to the surface.]]></p></abstract>
