As a result of our analysis, we develop expressions which yield the number of degrees of freedom of an analogous system, not only in three, but in any arbitrary number D of dimensions.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[En este trabajo se corrige el cálculo hecho por Einstein que aparece en su libro titulado "The meaning of Relativity" (Princeton, 1953), por medio del cual el trata de obtener el número de grados de libertad para un sistema constituido por n partículas, cuyas distancias se mantienen fijas y que se encuentran en un espacio tridimensional. Como resultado del presente análisis, se desarrollan expresiones que permiten hallar el número correcto de grados de libertad de sistemas como el descrito, además de las correspondientes generalizaciones para un espacio de dimensión arbitraria D.]]></p></abstract>
