Estos modos se obtienen realizando un ajuste mecánico en un arreglo experimental convencional. Además, se realiza una descripción general de la teoría que origina estos modos y se muestran simulaciones de los mismos. El enfoque de este trabajo es principalmente académico, sin embargo, la revisión teórica y el análisis experimental que se realizan son básicos para el desarrollo de investigaciónes en el área.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This work shows an experimental study to obtain lineal polarized modes in standard optical fibers (LPnm modes). Such modes are getting in a simple set-up, by a mechanical adjustment. In addition, we review the general theory and it is showed computational simulations of such modes. The focus of this work is mainly academic, but at the same time it can be considered basic to start in the fiber optic area.]]></p></abstract>

Estos modos se obtienen realizando un ajuste mec&aacute;nico en un arreglo experimental convencional. Adem&aacute;s, se realiza una descripci&oacute;n general de la teor&iacute;a que origina estos modos y se muestran simulaciones de los mismos.
