Sistemas tan diversos como la sincronización de relojes, el ritmo de vida circadiano, la regularidad de algunas funciones vitales, el aumento de potencia de emisores independientes y muchos otros más, basan su comportamiento en el fenómeno de la sincronización, cuya esencia se encuentra en el ajuste de ritmos debido a una interacción. Nuestra presentación se basa en el hecho de que un mejor entendimiento del fenómeno se consigue revisando, con un enfoque adecuado, los fundamentos elementales de los procesos oscilatorios.]]></p></abstract>

This phenomenon is widely encountered in physics, biology, engineering and social phenomena. It is also the basis of phenomena such as the synchronization of clocks, rhythmic processes in physiology, lasers and many others that involve a slight coupling that produces an adjustment of rhythms. Our presentation takes into account that a better understanding of the synchronization phenomenon is achieved through an adequately oriented review of the fundamentals of the basic oscillatory phenomena.]]></p></abstract>
