Se registraron 88 individuos de 11 especies de anfibios y la mayor riqueza se presentó en la zona interna del bosque. A partir de 6 rasgos funcionales, se clasificó el ensamblaje de anfibios en 4 grupos funcionales. La composición del ensamblaje de anfibios y la frecuencia de grupos funcionales varió por el efecto del tipo de cobertura vegetal y la temporada climática. En la zona interna del bosque, el índice de riqueza funcional ponderado por la abundancia de la comunidad fue mayor que en el resto de las coberturas vegetales, indicando que en este hábitat los anfibios abarcan un amplio espacio funcional y mejor potencial para explorar los recursos. Los cultivos de cacao y caña, por sus características estructurales permiten la dispersión de algunas especies de anfibios, mientras que los potreros y cultivos mixtos constituyen barreras para su movilidad. A partir de la distribución de las especies y grupos funcionales, se proponen acciones de manejo de los agroecosistemas para incrementar la calidad del hábitat y la conectividad de las poblaciones en el paisaje.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The aim of this work was to evaluate changes in the taxonomic and functional diversity of amphibians in 9 vegetation cover types in a highly fragmented landscape in the Colombian Andes. Eighty-eight individuals of 11 amphibian species were recorded, with the greatest richness occurring in the interior zone of the forest. Based on 6 functional traits, the amphibian assemblage was classified into 4 functional groups. The composition of the amphibian assemblage and the frequency of functional groups varied by the effect of the type of vegetation cover and the climatic season. In the interior zone of the forest, the index of functional richness weighted by total abundance at the community level was higher than in the rest of the vegetation cover, indicating that in this habitat amphibians occupy a wide functional space and better potential to explore resources. Cocoa and sugar cane crops, due to their structural characteristics, allow the dispersion of some amphibian species, while pastures and mixed crops constitute barriers to their mobility. Based on the distribution of species and functional groups, actions for the management of agro-ecosystems are proposed to increase the quality of habitat and the connectivity of populations in the landscape.]]></p></abstract>
