<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1870-199X2009000100009&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1870-199X2009000100009&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1870-199X2009000100009&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El propósito del presente trabajo fue evaluar la capacidad antimicrobiana del agua superoxidada (Microcyn 60) sobre cepas bacterianas que según los reportes de la literatura son causantes de fracasos endodónticos (E. fecalis, P. aeruginosa) y además se utilizó el B. subtilis como comparativo, se utilizaron para este estudio las pruebas de concentración mínima inhibitoria (MIC) y las de difusión en agar utilizando el agua superoxidada a concentraciones normales y se compararon con concentraciones de hipoclorito de sodio al 2.5 y 5%, los resultados obtenidos fueron analizados a través de una prueba ANOVA con un &#945; de 0.05, los resultados obtenidos fueron que el agua no tiene ningún efecto antimicrobiano sobre estas cepas bacteriológicas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The aim of this study was to evaluate the antimicrobial capacity of super oxygenated water (Microcyn 60) on bacterial strains that according to literature reports are the cause of endodontic failure (E. fecalis, P aeruginosa); B. subtilis was used as a control. For this study The Minimum inhibitory concentration tests and the agar diffusion tests were used utilizing super oxygenated water at normal concentrations, and then the results were compared with those utilizing sodium hypochlorite at 2.5 and 5 %. The results of this study showed that superoxidized water has non antimicrobial effect over the strains used in this study.]]></p></abstract>
