Se considera entonces interesante definir nuevas vías y evaluar y localizar los tipos celulares en diferentes sitios en tejido epitelial y conectivo para establecer el comportamiento entre sitios del mismo paciente y entre sitios entre pacientes. Se evaluaron 10 biopsias de 2 pacientes con diagnóstico de periodontitis crónica, las cuales fueron procesadas para su análisis inmunohistoquímico (anti CD3, CD4, CD8, V&#946;2, 5.1, 6.7, 8 y 12) e histomorfométrico. El comportamiento de los marcadores CD3, CD4 y CD8 tanto en epitelio como en tejido conectivo, fue uniforme entre pacientes, entre sitios del mismo paciente y entre sitios entre pacientes. Se observaron diferencias significativas únicamente para el tejido con alta expresión de los marcadores en el tejido conectivo. La mayor expresión de las familias V&#946; del TCR en los tejidos fue para V&#946;6.7, V&#946;8 y V&#946;5.1, cuando se evaluaron en el tejido epitelial predominaron los marcadores V&#946;8 y V&#946;5.1 y en el tejido conectivo V&#946;6.7, V&#946;8. La expresión de TCR V&#946; fue variable intersitio e intrasitio, esto demuestra un comportamiento totalmente individual, lo que podría indicar que el sistema inmune responde de manera local.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The established periodontal lesions are characterized by BL, TL and macrophage dense infiltrations. Its important to determine new ways, as well as to evaluate and localize the cellular types in different sites in epithelial and connective tissues to establish the behavior between different sites in the same patient and between sites of different patients. Ten biopsies with chronic periodontitis, were evaluated for immunohistochemistry for anti CD4, CD8, CD3, V&#946;2, V&#946;5.1, V&#946;6.7, V&#946;8, V&#946;12. The first stains shown an uniform behavior in the epithelial and connective tissue between patients, between different sites in the same patient and between sites of different patients, demonstrating an homogeneous behavior. For all the variables, only significant differences were observed for the kind of tissue showing a strong expression in the connective tissue. The greater TCR expression of the variable families evaluated were to V&#946;6.7, followed by V&#946;8, V&#946;5. The expression for all the TCR markers shows significant differences when the analysis was individualized through the epithelial tissue and the connective tissue. Although, V&#946;8 y V&#946;5.1 were predominant for epithelial tissue, and V&#946;6.7, V&#946;8 for connective tissue. The TCR V&#946; expression intrasite and intersite was variable. This finding was extremely interest because demonstrates a totally individual behavior which could indicate that the immune system responds of local manner.]]></p></abstract>
