</abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en">
Abstract In the introduction to the first chapter of his third logical investigation, Husserl introduces his mereological theory as a fundamental component of a pure theory of objects. Husserl’s mereology is concerned with the relationship between independent and non-independent objects, which leads to the concept of foundation as the central core. Husserl presents six theorems summarizing part-whole relations that are derived from this distinction. Surprisingly, despite their fundamental importance, Husserl does not provide any formal proof of these theorems. The purpose of this article is to present these theorems, my proposed logical translation, existing logical translations, and relevant conclusions.
</abstract>
