Objetivo:  Analizar la relación entre el clima organizacional y la satisfacción laboral del personal que trabaja en una institución de salud.  Métodos:  Se realizó un estudio transversal analítico de correlación en una unidad de medicina familiar. El tamaño de la muestra fue de 182 trabajadores, quienes contestaron la Escala de Clima Organizacional integrada por las dimensiones de relaciones interpersonales, estilo de dirección, sentido de pertinencia, retribución, disponibilidad de recursos, claridad y coherencia en la dirección, estabilidad y valores colectivos; y el Cuestionario de Satisfacción Laboral integrado por los factores de satisfacción relacionado con la supervisión, el ambiente físico, las prestaciones recibidas, la participación y la satisfacción laboral intrínseca. Se obtuvo el consentimiento informado de los participantes.  Resultados:  La mayoría presentó clima organizacional por mejorar (56%) y 40.7% registro como satisfactorio la variable satisfacción laboral a muy satisfactorio (46.2%). Se encontró una correlación significativa moderada entre el clima organizacional y la satisfacción laboral (rs= 0.205; p= 0.05).  Discusión:  La correlación fue semejante a otros estudios, indicando que a mayor percepción del clima organizacional, mayor será la satisfacción laboral de los trabajadores.  Conclusiones:  Se identificó una correlación positiva entre la percepción del clima organizacional y satisfacción laboral en trabajadores de la salud.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Introduction:  Health workers are persons who provide clinical-assistance management support under working conditions which influence their health and life.  Objective:  To analyze the relationship between organizational climate and work satisfaction among health staff working in a health institution.  Methods:  This is a transversal analytic correlational study in a unit primary health care. The size of the sample was 182 workers who answered to an Organizational Climate Scale constituted by the following dimensions: interpersonal relations, style of direction, sense of belonging, retribution, resources availability, clarity and coherence in the direction, stability and collective values, and who also answered a Questionnaire of Work Satisfaction constituted by the following satisfaction factors: with the supervision, the physical environment, the retributions received, the participation, and the intrinsic working activity. An informed consent was obtained from all participants.  Results:  The majority of the respondents suggested an organizational climate which can be improved (56%), and a satisfying working environment (40.7%) or a very satisfying one (46.2%). A moderate significant correlation was found between organizational climate and work satisfaction (rs= 0.205; p= 0.05).  Discussion:  The correlation found in this study was similar to other correlations reported in other studies, suggesting that a better organizational climate would result in higher work satisfaction among the workers.  Conclusions:  A positive correlation was found between the perception of organizational climate and work satisfaction among health workers.]]></p></abstract>

Métodos:  Realizou-se um estudo transversal analítico de correlação em uma unidade de medicina familiar. O tamanho da amostra foi de 182 trabalhadores, os quais responderam a Escala de Clima Organizacional integrada pelas dimensões de relações interpessoais, estilo de direção, sentido de pertença, retribuição, disponibilidade de recursos, clareza e coerência na direção, estabilidade e valores coletivos; e o Questionário de Satisfação Laboral integrado pelos fatores de satisfação com a supervisão, com o ambiente físico, com as prestações recebidas, com a participação e a satisfação laboral intrínseca. Obteve-se o termo consentimento informado dos participantes.  Resultados:  A maioria apresentou clima organizacional por melhorar (56%) e satisfação laboral satisfatória (40.7%) até muito satisfatória (46.2%). Encontrou-se uma correlação significativa moderada entre o clima organizacional e a satisfação laboral (rs= 0.205; p= 0.05).  Discussão:  A correlação foi semelhante a outros estudos, indicando que, quanto maior a percepção do clima organizacional, maior será a satisfação laboral dos trabalhadores.  Conclusões:  Identificou-se uma correlação positiva entre a percepção do clima organizacional e a satisfação laboral nos trabalhadores de saúde.]]></p></abstract>
