Incorporation of nanometric silica spheres prepared by hydrolysis- condensation reactions with ammonium hydroxide as morphologic catalyst was made in a gel matrix with vanadium ions as network modifiers prepared by hydrolysis-condensation reactions but in acidic media. The size of monodisperse submicrometric spheres prepared is in the range of the visible light. A comparison between monoliths obtained by commercial nanospheres (OPTA) acidified and those obtained from TEOS/submicrometric spheres prepared is presented, both systems were dried at room temperature and with a temperature rate.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[En este trabajo se propone una ruta para sintetizar un sistema consistente de sílice en el cual se pueda efectuar la difracción de la luz visible, haciendo uso del proceso Sol Gel, en medios ácido y básico, partiendo del TEOS como precursor, en ambos casos. La incorporación de esferas nanométricas de sílice preparadas por medio de reacciones de hidrólisis y condensación con hidróxido de amonio como catalizador morfológico se realizó en una matriz de gel con iones vanadio como modificadores de red preparado por medio de reacciones de hidrólisis y condensación en medio ácido. El tamaño de las nanoesferas monodispersas preparadas, está en el rango de la luz visible. Se presenta una comparación de los monolitos obtenidos a partir de nanoesferas comerciales OPTA acidificadas, con los monolitos obtenidos a partir de TEOS y con la incorporación de nanoesferas preparadas, secados a temperatura ambiente y con una rampa de temperatura.]]></p></abstract>
