<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1665-26732024000200034&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1665-26732024000200034&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1665-26732024000200034&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[ Resumen El impacto de la pandemia por COVID-19 en la educación en México fue inesperado y ocasionó múltiples cambios dentro de la forma de enseñar y evaluar en las distintas instituciones de educación superior del país, por lo cual resulta pertinente evaluar la eficiencia terminal, antes y durante el confinamiento, utilizando dos indicadores (egresados y titulados) y la base de datos de ANUIES, con el objetivo de visualizar el comportamiento de la deserción universitaria. Los resultados arrojan que la mayoría de los estados de la República Mexicana tuvieron un decremento en estos dos criterios y que se agudizó el problema en lugares con mayor rezago social.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ Abstract The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education in Mexico was unexpected and caused multiple changes in the way of teaching and evaluating in the different higher education institutions in the country, for which it is pertinent to evaluate the terminal efficiency, before and during confinement using two indicators (graduates and college degree) and the ANUIES database, with the aim of visualizing the behavior of university desertion. The results show that most of the states of the Mexican Republic had a decrease in these two criteria and that the problem worsened in places with greater social backwardness.]]></p></abstract>
