La metodología empleada fue un estudio descriptivo mediante un código de observación, construido previamente. Los resultados mostraron que el color y el tamaño son las características que los niños más rápidamente identifican y con las cuales presenta mayor familiaridad. Un poco cercano a las anteriores se encuentra la forma. El grosor es la característica menos observada. En la semana 7, empiezan a realizar seriaciones por 2 criterios simultáneos, completándose por la mayoría al final de 9 semanas. En cuanto a las preferencias de construcción los niños prefieren recrear el mundo de la fantasía de sus cuentos que los objetos de su cotidianidad.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This research aims to identifying children´s evolution in classification and seriation criteria using Dienes&#8217; logic blocks. Besides, it intends to investigate the construction preferences of children during the development of free play. It is a descriptive study carried out using a previously-constructed observation code. The results showed that color and size are the characteristics most quickly identified by children and most familiar to them. Form is a bit below the previous ones. Thickness is the least observed feature. In week seven, children start to do two-criterion simultaneous seriations, with the majority of them completing it at the end of week nine. Regarding construction preferences, children prefer to recreate the fantasy world of their stories than their daily life objects.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO O objetivo da pesquisa é identificar a evolução das crianças em critérios de classificação e seriação usando os blocos lógicos de Dienes e investigar as preferências de construção das crianças durante o desenvolvimento do brincar livre. A metodologia utilizada foi um estudo descritivo, utilizando um código de observação, previamente construído. Os resultados mostraram que cor e tamanho são as características que as crianças mais rapidamente identificam e com as quais possuem maior familiaridade. Um pouco perto dos anteriores é a forma. A espessura é a característica menos observada. Na semana 7, eles começam a realizar serializações por 2 critérios simultâneos, sendo completados pela maioria ao final de 9 semanas. Em termos de preferências de construção, as crianças preferem recriar o mundo de fantasia de suas histórias do que os objetos de sua vida cotidiana.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[RÉSUMÉ La recherche vise à identifier l&#8217;évolution des enfants dans la classification et les critères de création de séries en utilisant les blocs logiques de Dienes et à étudier les préférences de construction des enfants pendant le développement du jeu libre. La méthodologie utilisée est une étude descriptive utilisant un code d&#8217;observation préalablement construit. Les résultats ont montré que la couleur et la taille sont les caractéristiques auxquelles les enfants s&#8217;identifient le plus rapidement et avec lesquelles ils sont le plus familiers. La forme s&#8217;approche des caractéristiques précédentes. L&#8217;épaisseur est la caractéristique la moins observée. En semaine 7, les élèves commencent à faire des séries sur 2 critères simultanés, étant complétés par la majorité à la fin des 9 semaines. En termes de préférences de construction, les enfants préfèrent recréer le monde fantastique de leurs histoires plutôt que les objets de leur vie quotidienne.]]></p></abstract>
