Dicha manera, que consiste en ponerle una &#8220;sordina poética&#8221;, tiene notorias afinidades con el Realismo mágico histórico, acuñado en el periodo de Entreguerras por el italiano Massimo Bontempelli (no confundir con las teorías harto imprecisas que circularon en Latinoamérica, bajo el mismo rótulo, a partir de la década de 1950 del siglo pasado). El presente artículo, que forma parte de una investigación más amplia, se propone explorar la dimensión architextual de la narrativa del autor colombiano, con referencia a Gérard Genette, para quien el architexto abarca &#8220;el conjunto de categorías generales o trascendentes [&#8230;] a las cuales remite cada texto singular&#8221;. Para el caso concreto, las categorías en cuestión serían la realidad y el misterio mismos, y, sobre todo, el héroe (o personaje), que las sintetiza en el plano mítico.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: Among his contemporaries belonging to the boom generation, Álvaro Mutis, with his Empresas y tribulaciones de Maqroll el Gaviero, stands out by the original way he approaches the mystery. That approach, consisting of putting a &#8220;poetic mute&#8221; to the mystery, has obvious affinities with the historical Magical realism, &#8220;invented&#8221; in the interwar period by Italian Massimo Bontempelli. (Not to be confused with vague and imprecise theories that circulated under the same label in Latin America, from the 50s of the last century). In this paper, which is part of a broader research, it is intended to explore the architextual dimension of the Colombian author&#8217;s novel cycle, by referring to Gérard Genette, for whom the architext covers &#8220;all general or transcendent categories [...] each singular text notes&#8221;. In the specific case of Mutis, those categories are reality and mystery themselves, and especially the hero, which synthesizes both, at a mythical level.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé : Parmi ses contemporains de la génération du boom, Álvaro Mutis, avec ses Empresas y tribulaciones de Maqroll el Gaviero, se distingue par sa façon originale dont il s&#8217;approche du mystère. Ladite approche, consistant en mettre une « sourdine poétique » au mystère, a des affinités évidentes avec le Réalisme magique historique, « inventé » dans l&#8217;entre-deux guerres par l&#8217;Italien Massimo Bontempelli. (À ne pas confondre avec les théories assez vagues et imprécises qui ont circulé sous la même étiquette en Amérique Latine, à partir des années 50 du siècle dernier). Cet articule, qui fait partie d&#8217;une recherche plus large, propose d&#8217;explorer la dimension architextuelle du cycle romanesque de l&#8217;auteur colombien, en se référant à Gérard Genette pour qui l&#8217;architexte recouvre « l&#8217;ensemble des catégories générales ou transcendantes [...] dont relève chaque texte singulier ». Dans le cas spécifique de Mutis, les catégories en question seraient la réalité et le mystère eux-mêmes, et surtout le héros, qui les synthétise sur un plan mythique.]]></p></abstract>
