Este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación sobre las experiencias de un grupo de docentes que laboran en el estado de Chiapas, México. El objetivo es documentar y analizar algunos elementos nucleares de su aprendizaje sobre el funcionamiento del sistema educativo en el cual están inmersos, un aprendizaje que se asemeja a lo que se entiende por la noción de un currículo oculto. Desde un paradigma constructivista y un enfoque biográfico, se realizaron entrevistas abiertas a nueve docentes de primaria que laboran en Chiapas. Mediante un análisis interpretativo, se identificó el aprendizaje de la desconfianza como una característica emergente y constante en sus relatos. Los resultados fueron categorizados en tres campos relacionales en los que aprender a desconfiar parece ser determinante en cuanto a su práctica e identidad: el gobierno y las autoridades; compañeras y compañeros docentes; y madres y padres de familia. También, se observa la necesidad del trabajo colaborativo y sinérgico, con posturas aprendidas que cierran esta posibilidad y perpetúan los mismos sentimientos de desconfianza y un ambiente adverso. Estas posturas tienen una clara implicación en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, al alterar el buen funcionamiento de las escuelas, así como el clima escolar.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract. This article presents the research findings into the experience of teachers working in Chiapas, Mexico. Our objective was to document and analyze some key elements of teachers&#8217; learning about the functioning of the education system in which they are immersed; a learning that can be linked to a hidden curriculum. Using a constructivist paradigm and a biographic approach, semi-structured interviews with 9 primary teachers working in Chiapas were undertaken. Though our interpretative analysis, the learning of mistrust has been identify as an emergent and constant characteristic in all the teachers&#8217; stories. The results around mistrust were categorized in three relational fields where learning to mistrust was deemed a determinant characteristic to their practice and identity: The government and authority, their teacher colleagues, and parents. At the same time that the need for collaborative and synergetic work was observed, learnt attitudes that closed down this possibility and perpetuate the prevailing toxic climate and ongoing feelings of mistrust were also found. These attitudes have a clear implication in student´s learning, altering the good functioning of schools and school climate.]]></p></abstract>
