La investigación incluye un estudio cuasiexperimental con un pretest y un postest; junto con un enfoque cualitativo que analiza las interacciones entre el alumnado para detectar la influencia del discurso matemático en la variable estudiada. Se observa un progreso en el discurso de los participantes y mejoras estadísticamente significativas para el alumnado en la dimensión Resolución cooperativa de problemas. La influencia positiva de la tutoría entre iguales en el desarrollo de la competencia matemática a través del programa queda confirmada.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This study explores the development of cooperative mathematical problem-solving by participants in the &#8220;Razonar en pareja&#8221; educational program, which is based on cooperative peer tutoring. The research includes a pretest-posttest quasi-experimental study, coupled with a qualitative approach that analyzes interactions between students to detect the influence of mathematical discourse on the variable studied. Progress is observed in participant discourse, with statistically significant improvements in students&#8217; cooperative problem-solving. The study supports a positive influence of peer tutoring on the development of mathematical competence through the program.]]></p></abstract>
