Participaron 150 padres de familia de 50 escuelas públicas de educación básica, quienes contestaron el instrumento &#8220;Cuestionario Gestión en la Convivencia Escolar&#8221;; los resultados identifican dos grupos de padres en relación con la atención de la escuela, los Satisfechos (57%) y los Insatisfechos (43%), estos últimos refieren no haber sido notificados por escrito cuando su hijo se involucra en un conflicto y no invitados a talleres dirigidos para padres con el objetivo de recibir información y aprender estrategias para mejorar la convivencia escolar desde el contexto familiar.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The objective of this descriptive and cross-sectional study was to understand parents&#8217; perceptions regarding strategies to deal with episodes of aggressive behavior between students and the treatment received by students from the educational institution. The study involved 150 parents from 50 public basic-level schools who completed the &#8220;Handling of Coexistence in Schools&#8221; questionnaire. Results identified two groups: those who were satisfied (57%) and dissatisfied (43%) with school treatment. Dissatisfied parents reported not having been notified in writing when their child was involved in a conflict, and not having been invited to parent workshops aimed at providing information and teaching strategies that can be used at home to improve coexistence in schools.]]></p></abstract>
