<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1405-77432024000100005&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1405-77432024000100005&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1405-77432024000100005&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Con base en el incremento histórico sostenido en las temperaturas globales, organismos internacionales enfatizan la obligación de gestionar medidas de mitigación y adaptación, por lo tanto, se fundamenta el evaluar el confort higrotérmico en el cual usuarios de espacios de uso colectivo desarrollan sus actividades. El objetivo del presente trabajo es estimar el confort higrotérmico para espacios públicos abiertos en la ciudad de Ensenada, Baja California, localidad que presenta un clima mediterráneo y un bioclima templado seco. El periodo evaluado es de transición frío-cálido, a partir de las bases metodológicas del enfoque de estudio adaptativo, con el que se recabaron 221 observaciones con actividad predominantemente pasiva (68 %). Con lo anterior, se estimaron los valores de neutralidad y los rangos de confort extenso como a continuación se indica: 20.1 °C y de 15.4-26.0 °C para la temperatura; 58.4 % y de 35.6-79.3 % para la humedad relativa; 1.52 m/s y de 0.35-2.69 m/s para la velocidad del viento, respectivamente. Estos resultados fueron comparados con base en una interpolación realizada en Meteonorm 7.0 para un periodo de 1990-2010, los cuales mostraron diferencias reducidas de 0.3 °C entre los valores obtenidos y los comparados para temperatura, 2.1 % para la humedad, y 0.2 m/s para la velocidad de viento. Por lo tanto, se evidencia la aportación de obtener estimaciones directamente en campo en las que el enfoque adaptativo representa una amplitud consistente a las condiciones del sitio para obtener indicadores ambientales que contribuyan a la confortabilidad higrotérmica de los espacios abiertos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Based on the sustained historical increase in global temperatures, international organizations emphasize the obligation to manage mitigation and adaptation measures, therefore, it is justified to evaluate the degree of hygrothermal comfort in which users of spaces for collective use carry out their activities. The objective of this work is to estimate the hygrothermal comfort for open public spaces, in the city of Ensenada, Baja California, which has a Mediterranean climate and a dry temperate bioclimate. The period evaluated is a cold-warm transition, based on the methodological bases of the adaptive study approach, with which 221 observations were collected with passive activity (68 %) predominantly. In this order, the neutrality values and the extensive comfort ranges were estimated as follows: 20.1 °C and 15.4-26.0 °C for temperature; 58.4 % and 35.6-79.3 % for relative humidity; 1.52 m/s and 0.35-2.69 m/s for the wind speed, respectively. These results were compared based on an interpolation carried out in Meteonorm 7.0 for a period of 1990-2010, which showed reduced differences of 0.3 °C between the values obtained and those compared for temperature, 2.1 % for humidity, and 0.2 m/ s for wind speed.
