Una característica de este tipo de sistemas de medición es la naturaleza cualitativa y la valoración subjetiva que los inspectores de calidad emplean para valorar los frutos. En el trabajo se presentan los resultados de análisis de los sistemas de medición por atributos utilizados en dos empresas dedicadas a la actividad de empaque de frutos, las cuales obtuvieron resultados contrastantes en los análisis de concordancia, que son comparados mediante el valor obtenido en el coeficiente estadístico Kappa de Fleiss. Las diferencias obtenidas en los dos casos de estudio son analizadas por medio de datos adicionales que describen características de cada sistema de medición por atributos empleados y que se sugieren como un factor relevante para los resultados obtenidos en cada empresa. El trabajo culmina discutiendo sobre las posibles acciones de mejora para el diseño e implementación de un sistema de medición por atributos en empresas de empaque de zarzamoras.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This paper describes an experimental process to evaluate the efficiency of the attributes measurement systems used for blackberry quality in packing companies is described. A characteristic of this type of measurement system is its qualitative nature and the subjective assessment that quality inspectors use to assess the fruits. In this work, the analysis results of the attributes measurements systems used in two different packing companies are presented, which obtained contrasting results in the concordance analysis, that are compared through the value of the Fleiss&#8217; Kappa statistical coefficient. The differences obtained in the two case studies are analyzed using additional data describing the characteristics of each measurement system used, which suggests a relevant factor for the results obtained in each company. Finally, the work presents a discussion of the possible improvement actions for designing and implementing an attributes measurement system for blackberry packing companies.]]></p></abstract>
