Este artículo presenta el desarrollo de una mediación didáctica-tecnológica compuesta por la aplicación denominada TECO, cuyo objetivo es contribuir a generar actitudes, prácticas y comportamientos ambientales que permitan hacer frente a la problemática generada por residuos electrónicos (celulares, tabletas) y con ello proyectar la construcción de cultura ambiental desde la Amazonia colombiana. La elaboración del escenario virtual gamificado parte del desarrollo de contenidos y actividades para ecoalfabetizar, resolviendo retos y juegos virtuales. Finalmente, se consideran estas estrategias innovadoras y motivadoras como factores indispensables en la construcción de cultura ambiental, aspectos que dan una línea de base para la continuación de proyectos de investigación.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Ecoliteracy seeks to recognize the importance of protecting ecosystems through attitudes and behaviors that contribute to establishing a sustainable relationship with the environment. This article presents the development of didactic/technological mediation composed of the application called TECO, whose objective is to contribute to the generation of environmental attitudes, practices, and behaviors that facilitate dealing with the problems of electronic waste (cell phones, tablets) and thus project the construction of an environmental culture in the Colombian Amazon. The elaboration of the gamified virtual scenario is based on the development of content and activities for ecoliteracy, through virtual games and challenges. Such innovative and motivating strategies are considered essential in the construction of environmental culture and provide a baseline for continuing research projects.]]></p></abstract>
