El objetivo es identificar las condiciones que favorecieron o dificultaron el uso de estas herramientas. Los resultados revelan la importancia de sincronizar las condiciones de favorabilidad para poder sobrepasar las barreras institucionales, curriculares y de cultura del uso de los dispositivos móviles por parte de estudiantes y profesores.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This article shows the process and results of a mixed or multi-method case study on the implementation of mobile devices in a public institution of secondary education, in Colombia. The objective is to identify the conditions that favored or hindered the use of such tools. The results reveal the importance of synchronizing the conditions of favorability in order to overcome the institutional, curriculum, and cultural barriers to the use of mobile devices by students and teachers.]]></p></abstract>
