Se partió de una revisión sistemática de la bibliografía y del consenso de expertos, para identificar las funciones de la tutoría en la educación superior. El modelo identifica ocho funciones: formación de investigadores y profesional, docencia, entrenamiento, consejería académica, socialización, patrocinio y apoyo psicosocial. Promueve prácticas tutorales más conscientes y reflexivas, favorece la formación de tutores y la evaluación de su calidad.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract To construct an integral model of tutoring, functional task analysis was used. A systematic review of the bibliography and expert consensus was made, in order to identify the functions of tutoring in higher education. The model identifies eight functions: educating professionals and researchers, teaching, training, academic advising, socialization, sponsorship and psychosocial support. It promotes tutorial practices that are more aware and reflective, while favoring the training of tutors and the evaluation of their quality.]]></p></abstract>
