Una de las principales especies utilizadas para este fin es Agave cupreata. Dentro de los problemas fitosanitarios que limitan su cultivo, se encuentra la pudrición blanda del cogollo causado por la bacteria Pectobacterium carotovorum, que ocasiona pérdidas de más de 157 mil litros de mezcal por año. El uso indiscriminado de agroquímicos para su control conduce a la degradación de ecosistemas y a la resistencia genética de patógenos. El objetivo de este trabajo fue evaluar el efecto bactericida in vitro de métodos biorracionales tales como el uso de dos tipos de nanopartículas de plata (AsA-AgNPs y AsB-AgNPs) sintetizadas con extractos de A. salmiana así como el uso de Bacillus subtilis, Trichoderma lignorum, comparándolos con un producto comercial (Agry-gent® Plus 800) para el control de P. carotovorum. Se evaluó el efecto bactericida in vitro de tres concentraciones de estos tratamientos en cultivos duales para el de control de P. carotovorum, con tres repeticiones. El análisis estadístico, reveló que las nanopartículas de síntesis verde AsA-AgNPs a una concentración de 0.06 mg/mL fue el tratamiento más eficiente en el control de la bacteria fitopatógena.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The Agave genus has cultural, social and economic importance due to its uses, highlighting the production of alcoholic beverages such as mezcal. One of the main species used for this purpose is Agave cupreata. Among the phytosanitary problems that limit its cultivation is soft rot of the bud caused by the bacteria Pectobacterium carotovorum, which causes losses more than 157 thousand liters of mezcal per year. The indiscriminate use of agrochemicals for its control leads to the degradation of ecosystems and the genetic resistance of pathogens. The objective of this work was to evaluate the in vitro bactericidal effect of biorational methods such as the use of two types of silver nanoparticles (AsA-AgNPs and AsB-AgNPs) synthesized with extracts of A. salmiana as well as the use of Bacillus subtilis, Trichoderma lignorum, comparing them with a commercial product (Agry-gent® Plus 800) for the control of P. carotovorum. The in vitro bactericidal effect of three concentrations of these treatments was evaluated in dual cultures for the control of P. carotovorum, whit three repetitions.
