<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0300-90412025001000385&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S0300-90412025001000385&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S0300-90412025001000385&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  OBJETIVO: Describir los desenlaces reproductivos y perinatales de pacientes idóneas para hiperrespuesta (hormona antimullerinana &#8805; 3.5 ng/mL o, bien, recuento folicular antral &#8805; 15) y compararlas con quienes resultaron con una hiperrespuesta real (&#8805; 15 ovocitos recuperados).  MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: Estudio analítico, observacional, transversal y comparativo efectuado en pacientes tratadas entre 2023 y 2024. Variables analizadas: clínicas, hormonales, reproductivas y perinatales. Se utilizó estadística descriptiva, prueba de Kolmogorov-Smirnov, c2 y t de Student.  RESULTADOS: Se estudiaron 108 pacientes de las que 50 (46.3%) realmente tuvieron una hiperrespuesta. El promedio de edad fue 33.7 años. Se encontró síndrome de ovario poliquístico en 65 (60.2%). La tasa de ovocitos maduros fue del 80% y la de blastocistos 34%. No hubo casos de síndrome de hiperestimulación ovárica. La tasa de embarazo clínico y de nacido vivo en pacientes con hiperrespuesta comparadas sin ésta fue de 44.7 y 36.8% en contraposición con 36 y 24%, respectivamente. De las pacientes con hiperrespuesta se obtuvieron más ovocitos y blastocistos, pero sin diferencias significativas en cuanto a la tasa de fertilización y de nacidos vivos.  CONCLUSIONES: Si bien las pacientes con hiperrespuesta produjeron más ovocitos y blastocistos, las tasas de embarazo clínico y nacido vivo no alcanzaron significación ni en las complicaciones. La personalización del tratamiento permite optimizar la eficacia y la seguridad.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  OBJECTIVE: To describe the reproductive and perinatal outcomes of patients suitable for hyperresponse (anti-Müllerian hormone &#8805; 3.5 ng/mL or antral follicle count &#8805; 15) and to compare these outcomes with those of patients who actually experienced hyperresponse (&#8805; 15 oocytes retrieved).  MATERIALS AND METHODS: This was an analytical, observational, cross-sectional, comparative study conducted on patients treated between 2023 and 2024. The following variables were analyzed: clinical, hormonal, reproductive, and perinatal. Descriptive statistics, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, the c2 test, and Student&amp;apos;s t-test were used.  RESULTS: A total of 108 patients were studied, of whom 50 (46.3%) had a hyperresponse. The average age was 33.7 years. Polycystic ovary syndrome was present in 65 patients (60.2%). The mature oocyte rate was 80%, and the blastocyst rate was 34%. There were no cases of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. The clinical pregnancy and live birth rates for patients with and without hyperresponse were 44.7% and 36.8%, and 36% and 24%, respectively. Patients with hyperresponse had higher numbers of oocytes and blastocysts, but there were no significant differences in fertilization or live birth rates.  CONCLUSIONS: Although patients with hyperresponse produced more oocytes and blastocysts, the clinical pregnancy and live birth rates were not significantly different, nor were the complications. Personalizing treatment allows for the optimization of efficacy and safety.]]></p></abstract>
