Las principales ventajas del enfoque fuzzy fueron la ponderación del impacto de los factores de estratificación sobre el rendimiento de los cultivos, presentar mayor desagregación de la aptitud, y no depender de la percepción subjetiva de los especialistas por cultivo para definir los requerimientos de los mismos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The Rural Development District 004 (Celaya, Mexico), was studied using the gradual transition limits (fuzzy) approach as an option to the conventional (Boolean) methods, The resolution of physical factors was increased with relation to the previous studies and the verification results were used in the modelling stage to adjust sustaible criteria, The main advantages of the fuzzy approach were: the determination of the impact of stratification factors on the yield crops and the high separation of the crop suitability. Thus eliminating the subjetive perception of researchers to define crops requirements.]]></p></abstract>

<body><![CDATA[<br>   <font face="verdana" size="2">Aceptado en versi&oacute;n final: agosto 12, 1998</font></p>     <p align="justify">&nbsp;</p>  	    <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2"><b>Resumen</b></font></p> 	    <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">Se estudi&oacute; el Distrito de Desarrollo Rural 004 Celaya, aplicando el enfoque de l&iacute;mites de transici&oacute;n gradual ("fuzzy") como una alternativa para superar las limitaciones derivadas de la aplicaci&oacute;n de la metodolog&iacute;a convencional ("Booleana"), Se increment&oacute; la resoluci&oacute;n con respecto a los trabajos previos de la base de datos f&iacute;sicos y los resultados de la verificaci&oacute;n fueron utilizados para ajustar los criterios en la fase de modelaci&oacute;n.
