Diversos esfuerzos se han realizado en la enseñanza de cursos introductorios de química para favorecer el aprendizaje de temas complejos y transversales, abordándolos de manera sencilla, divertida e incluso competitiva. En la Facultad de Química de la UNAM, hemos generado una serie de juegos de mesa de química que tratan temas de las materias de los primeros semestres de las diferentes carreras que se imparten en la Facultad. La aplicación de estos juegos de mesa en el aula de clase ha mostrado resultados interesantes que apuntan a la utilidad y eficiencia de esta metodología pedagógica en términos del aprendizaje. Dichos resultados prometedores permitieron producir de forma física los juegos de mesa de química para que estén permanentemente disponibles para estudiantes y profesores en la Facultad y que puedan ser utilizados de manera lúdica y didáctica. En este artículo mostramos los diferentes trabajos realizados y su impacto en el aprendizaje de alumnos de los primeros semestres de la Facultad de Química.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Educational games have demonstrated that they represent valuable pedagogical instruments, which can contribute to teaching and learning in a gratifying environment. In chemistry courses, an important effort has been made to facilitate complex interrelated concepts in an easy, enjoyable and sometimes competitive way. At Facultad de Química, UNAM, we have generated a series of chemistry educational games treating a variety of introductory chemistry topics. The application of these games in the classroom showed encouraging results in terms of increasing learning and helping to overcome documented misconceptions. These promising results lead to a higher scale printing of the games, thus being available at the campus and allowing students and teachers to use them for ludic and didactic purposes. Herein, we discuss the different contributions and their impact in students&#8217; learning.]]></p></abstract>
