En este contexto, este estudio tuvo como objetivo caracterizar molecularmente aislamientos bacterianos de un biol elaborado con microorganismos nativos de montaña, así como el riego deficitario en el cultivo de pimiento (Capsicum annuum L.). Se implementaron seis tratamientos: T1: 100% de la evapotranspiración del cultivo (ETc) sin biol; T2: 75% de la ETc sin biol; T3: 50% de la ETc sin biol; T4: 100% de la ETc con biol; T5: 75% de la ETc con biol; y T6: 50% de la ETc con biol. Para la caracterización molecular, se emplearon productos de PCR, los cuales fueron analizados utilizando la herramienta BLAST en la base de datos GenBank®. Los resultados de la secuenciación del gen ARNr 16S revelaron la presencia de bacterias como Enterobacter asburiae, Enterobacter hormaechei y Serratia marcescens, mostrando además la formación de dos subgrupos distintos. En las variables agronómicas, el uso de biol al 100% de la ETc (T4) fue superior en cuanto a altura de planta, peso comercial y rendimiento, mientras que, el 50% de la ETc sin biol (T3) mostró los menores registros en todas las variables evaluadas. Por otro lado, el tratamiento T6 destacó en la eficiencia del uso del agua, alcanzando un rendimiento de 30.73 kg m- ³. El empleo de biol mejora las características agronómicas del cultivo de pimiento y permite una reducción de hasta el 50% en el consumo de agua sin afectar significativamente el rendimiento.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Summary: The search for sustainable agronomic strategies is essential to address water scarcity and mitigate the negative impacts associated with conventional agricultural practices. In this context, this study aimed to molecularly characterize bacterial isolates from a biol prepared with native mountain microorganisms and to evaluate their interaction with deficit irrigation in bell pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) cultivation. Six treatments were implemented: T1, 100% of crop evapotranspiration (ETc) without biol; T2, 75% of ETc without biol; T3, 50% of ETc without biol; T4, 100% of ETc with biol; T5, 75% of ETc with biol; and T6, 50% of ETc with biol. For molecular characterization, PCR products were analyzed using the BLAST tool in the GenBank® database. The results of 16S rRNA gene sequencing revealed the presence of bacteria such as Enterobacter asburiae, Enterobacter hormaechei, and Serratia marcescens, and also indicated the formation of two distinct subgroups. Regarding agronomic variables, the use of biol at 100% ETc (T4) was superior in terms of plant height, commercial fruit weight, and yield, whereas 50% ETc without biol (T3) showed the lowest values in all evaluated variables. Conversely, treatment T6 stood out for its water use efficiency, achieving a yield of 30.73 kg m-³. The use of biol improves the agronomic performance of bell pepper cultivation and allows a reduction of up to 50% in water consumption without significantly affecting yield.]]></p></abstract>
