Estas sustancias que incluyen poli y oligosacáridos de diferente origen, son consideradas una nueva jerarquía de hormonas que funcionan en la planta antes de la acción de las hormonas tradicionales, como las auxinas, citoquininas y giberelinas. Sus características fisicoquímicas y estructurales también influyen significativamente en su actividad biológica y en especial en los procesos de enraizamiento tanto en condiciones in vitro como in vivo. En este trabajo se discuten los efectos benéficos, que causa la aplicación de estas sustancias en el proceso de enraizamiento vegetal y la acción indirecta relacionada con la interacción con microorganismos simbióticos del suelo, tales como rhizobacterias y hongos micorrízicos arbusculares que mejoran el crecimiento y el funcionamiento de las raíces en las plantas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Summary: Oligogalacturonides and chitosaccharides are members of a new class of bioactive substances with plant activity known as oligosaccharins. The application of these substances has direct and indirect beneficial effects on plant rooting processes, which are discussed in this work. These substances have been considered second messengers of some classic plant hormones, such as auxins, cytokines and gibberellins, resulting in their much more specific activity in the different organs of plants. Their physicochemical and structural characteristics also have a significant influence on their biological activity and especially on rooting processes, both in vitro and in vivo. In our study, we discussed positive effects caused by the application of oligogalacturonides and chitosaccharides in the process of rooting, as well as indirect effects related with the increased interaction with symbiotic soil microorganisms such as rhizobacteria and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi that improve root growth and function in plants.]]></p></abstract>
