<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0187-57792011000100065&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S0187-57792011000100065&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S0187-57792011000100065&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto del fósforo en campo sobre el coeficiente de atenuación de luz, índice de área foliar, radiación interceptada y materia seca, se sembraron en el Cerrillo Piedras Blancas México, bajo un diseño de bloques al azar con arreglo factorial, los cultivares de maíz: Amarillo Almoloya, Cacahuacintle y Cóndor a seis niveles de fósforo (P2O5): 0, 40, 80, 120, 160 y 200 kg ha-1, y densidad de 7.2 plantas m-2. Los resultados indican que el fósforo afectó al rendimiento, índice de área foliar, radiación interceptada, materia seca, y el coeficiente de atenuación de luz, a los 95 y 120 días después de la siembra. La interacción cultivar × fósforo solo fue significativa para rendimiento de grano.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: To evaluate the effect of phosphorus on yield, light attenuation coefficient, leaf area index, intercepted radiation and dry matter, the maize cultivars Amarillo Almoloya, Cacahuacintle and Condor were grown in Cerrillo Piedras Blancas, Mexico, with six levels of phosphorus (P2O5) (0, 40, 80, 120, 160 and 200 kg ha-1 and density of 7.2 plants m-2). Under a randomized block design in a factorial arrangement, the results indicated that phosphorus affects yield, leaf area index, intercepted radiation, biomass and the light attenuation coefficient, and 120 days after sowing. The interaction cultivar × phosphorus was significant only for grain yield.]]></p></abstract>
