Ces « danseurs » &#339;uvrent comme auxiliaires des cérémonies de demande de pluie du mois de mai dans le sud-ouest du Mexique. Le propos est d&#8217;analyser la praxis individuelle d&#8217;exercice physique qui forge l&#8217;endurance des corps et construit la masculinité à l&#8217;intérieur de cette classe d&#8217;âge de jeunes adultes. Cette pratique est associée à une narration mythique et idéologique développée au sein du « groupe de danse » qui les institue comme protecteurs du village. On s&#8217;intéressera à leur rôle officiel - vêtir les croix du village, mais aussi personnifier les vents et appeler la pluie - ainsi qu&#8217;à leur aspect occulte, à travers leur pratique de courses à pied nocturne. La course à pied a été resémantisée comme mécanisme de transformation de soi et comme processus thérapeutique contre les addictions (alcool, psychotropes). Les pratiques ritualisées des Cotlatlaztin constituent un registre d&#8217;actions duel autour des processus d&#8217;actualisation et de transformation (du biologique comme de soi-même), que l&#8217;on interrogera avec les catégories d&#8217;analyse du « virtuel » et de « l&#8217;empowerment ».]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: En este texto, se propone analizar el ejemplo etnográfico de los Cotlatlaztin, antipodistas rituales locutores náhuatl llamados «hombres vientos». Estos danzantes actúan como auxiliares en las ceremonias de petición de lluvia en el mes de mayo en el suroeste de México. El propósito de este artículo es analizar la praxis individual del ejercicio físico, que forja la resistencia de los cuerpos y construye la masculinidad dentro de esta clase de edad de jóvenes adultos. Esta práctica se asocia a una narración mítica e ideológica que se desarrolla en el seno del grupo de danza y los instituye como protectores del pueblo. Nos enfocaremos en su papel oficial -vestir las cruces del pueblo, personificar los vientos y llamar a la lluvia- así como en su aspecto oculto, a través de la práctica de carreras nocturnas. La carrera a pie surgió como un mecanismo de autotransformación y un proceso terapéutico contra las adicciones (alcohol o psicotrópicos). Las prácticas ritualizadas de los Cotlatlaztin constituyen un doble registro de acciones en torno a los procesos de actualización y transformación (tanto en lo biológico como de sí mismo), que se interrogarán con las categorías de análisis de lo virtual y el empowerment.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: In this paper, we will examine the ethnographic example of the Cotlatlaztin, nahuaphon ritual antipodists called «winds-men». These dancers acting as auxiliaries in the request rain May ceremonies in southwestern Mexico. The aim is to analyse the individual exercise praxis which forging their bodies&#8217; endurance and build masculinity within this group of adult young age. This practice is associated to a mythical and ideological narrative developed within the «dance group» and establishes them as village&#8217;s protectors. We will be interested in their official role -dressing the village crosses, but also to personifying winds and calling for rain- as well as their occult aspect, through their night-time running practice. Running emerged as a self-transformation mechanism and as a therapeutic process against addictions (alcohol or psychotropic drugs). These ritualized Cotlatlaztin practices constitute a dual action register around the actualisation and transformation processes (biological as well to oneself ), which will be questioned with the analysis of «virtual» and «empowerment» categories.]]></p></abstract>
