La mortalidad asociada a él se debe a crisis hipertensivas de difícil control y arritmias letales. El tratamiento es la adrenalectomía y conlleva un gran reto para los anestesiólogos debido a la fisiopatología del tumor. El manejo anestésico debe incluir un control dinámico de la presión arterial, adecuada analgesia y, sobre todo, una optimización previa a la cirugía con bloqueo alfa y beta adrenérgico. El objetivo de este artículo es recopilar las recomendaciones actuales para el abordaje anestésico perioperatorio del feocromocitoma. Se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura en PubMed y Google Scholar. Con esta revisión se presentan las generalidades del manejo anestésico perioperatorio del feocromocitoma.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Pheochromocytoma is a neuroendocrine tumor of adrenal origin that produces catecholamines. The mortality associated with it is due to difficult-to-control hypertensive crises and lethal arrhythmias. Treatment is adrenalectomy, which represents a major challenge for anesthesiologists due to the pathophysiology of the tumor. Anesthetic management should be based on dynamic blood pressure control, adequate analgesia, and, above all, preoperative optimization with alpha- and beta-adrenergic blockade. The objective of this article is to compile current recommendations for the perioperative anesthetic approach to pheochromocytoma. A systematic review of the literature was conducted in PubMed and Google Scholar. This review presents an overview of perioperative anesthetic management of pheochromocytoma.]]></p></abstract>
