Este estudio se centra en identificar las principales barreras al desarrollo del PC y proponer acciones para superarlas. Se determina que el progreso en el desarrollo de esta competencia es un proceso complejo, por lo que es importante que las instituciones de educación superior adopten medidas orientadas a aprovechar al máximo el potencial del PC para mejorar la vida del estudiantado y el bienestar social.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Critical Thinking (CT) is an important skill in higher education because it allows students to arrive at justified conclusions, make informed decisions, and efficiently solve problems when facing personal, academic, and social issues. This study focuses on identifying the main barriers to the development of CT and proposing actions to overcome them. It is determined that progress in the development of this competence is a complex process, so it is important for higher education institutions to take measures to fully exploit the potential of CT to improve the lives of students and social well-being.]]></p></abstract>
