Para mejorar esta metodología, el componente investigador debe impregnar también la labor docente, y para ello es necesaria una metodología de la investigación. La presente revisión teórica muestra cómo la investigación-acción (IA) puede adaptarse al trabajo por proyectos. Ambas metodologías son flexibles en su planteamiento y sus participantes tienen un papel activo y reflexivo sobre el proceso. Sin embargo, la falta de tiempo del docente hace que existan dificultades a priori para implementar las dos metodologías al mismo tiempo. La solución a este problema pasa, primero, por utilizar las actividades y procesos generados en el aula como objetos didácticos y, a la vez, como objetos de investigación; y, segundo, por acoplar las fases del proyecto y los ciclos de IA.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abtract: In project-based learning (PBL), students construct a final product using research strategies. To improve this methodology, the research component should also permeate teaching work, and for this a research methodology is needed. This article provides a review of current theory showing how research-action (RA) can be adapted to project work. Both methodologies are flexible in their approach and participants play an active, reflexive role in the process. However, a shortage of available time for teachers creates a priori difficulties in implementation of the two methodologies simultaneously. The solution to this problem involves first using activities and processes generated in the classroom for didactic purposes as well research objects; and second, combining the project phases with RA cycles.]]></p></abstract>
