Estudio etnográfico de la comunicación intergeneracional de los mayas de Naranjal Poniente". Por otro lado, también examino la enseñanza escolarizada de la lengua maya, específicamente el currículo estatal que se emplea para la enseñanza de la lengua maya, y la contrapongo con la adquisición de la misma lengua en las familias para generar caminos hacia una posible interculturalización de la enseñanza de las lenguas indígenas.]]></p></abstract>

Estudio etnogr&aacute;fico de la comunicaci&oacute;n intergeneracional de los mayas de Naranjal Poniente". Sin embargo, al volver a mi casa, la cuna de mi lengua, <i>ajsa'ab in na'at</i>, "me despertaron mi entender"<i>,</i> para entender que el maya no se ense&ntilde;a, no se mete en la boca, se saca de la boca, porque <i>le t'aano' ku j&oacute;ok'ol</i><b>,</b> "el habla sal". Y el habla sale de manera oral, no escrita, a pesar de que la lengua maya tuvo una tradici&oacute;n de escritura, se cerr&oacute; en la clase sacerdotal o de escribanos, y no se desarrollaba con letras latinas como lo hace hoy. La salida del habla no solo la conocen las madres mayas: casi todos sabemos que existen particularidades en la adquisici&oacute;n de las lenguas ind&iacute;genas. Este conocimiento, que desarrollan las madres en los hogares mayas, dentro de las comunidades mayas, es capaz de hacer que los ni&ntilde;os y las ni&ntilde;as de dichos grupos sociales hablen la lengua a los tres a&ntilde;os de edad, como se muestra en el cuadro anterior. u <i>j&oacute;ok'ol t'aan</i> cuenta con epistemolog&iacute;a, pedagog&iacute;a, did&aacute;ctica y contenido ling&uuml;&iacute;stico propios de naturaleza cultural y comunitaria, perteneciente a la propia lengua.</font></p>  	    ]]></body>
<body><![CDATA[<p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2"><i>U j&oacute;ok'ol t'aan</i> posee un proceso o un camino que empieza desde el <i>yo'omil,</i> "embarazo"<i>,</i> cuando se acerca la lengua a los o&iacute;dos para que estos se abran a la lengua y la persona alcance a reconocer cual es la que se habla. Este primer paso se entiende como la gestaci&oacute;n o introducci&oacute;n de la lengua al individuo. Despu&eacute;s del <i>yo'omil</i> el proceso contin&uacute;a de manera natural, "la lengua nace y crece al igual que la persona", en su propio tiempo, espacio, contenido y secreto o raz&oacute;n. Por lo tanto, la lengua contin&uacute;a su camino en <i>chan paalil</i>, "la infancia"<i>.</i> Aqu&iacute; se busca que la lengua se entienda y empiece a brotar de la boca, pues se ha introducido desde el embarazo. En esta etapa la lengua pasa de ser reconocida a ser hablada con la ayuda de las necesidades b&aacute;sicas naturales del individuo en su crecimiento. Durante este tiempo todos los integrantes de la familia intervienen para sacar el habla y la lengua del ni&ntilde;o, creando necesidades que lo obliguen a usar el habla y la lengua que ha aprendido o est&aacute; aprendiendo. Aqu&iacute; los padres juegan un papel principal porque son ellos quienes fungir&aacute;n como ayudantes, int&eacute;rpretes y los que hablar&aacute;n por el ni&ntilde;o en caso de no poderlo hacer este &uacute;ltimo. La participaci&oacute;n de la familia y el contexto en la adquisici&oacute;n del lenguaje, "la salida del habla" en este caso, es denominada por Bruner (1983) (<i>apud</i> Garton, 1994: 18) en su teor&iacute;a del lenguaje como "Sistema de Apoyo para la Adqusici&oacute;n del Lenguaje" (LASS, <i>Laguage Acquisition Support System</i>).</font></p>  	    <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">Un vez que salga el habla, la lengua se nutre y se ampl&iacute;a con las actividades que desempe&ntilde;an las ni&ntilde;as y los ni&ntilde;os de acuerdo con sus roles en la familia y en la sociedad, al pasar en las edades de <i>nojoch paal</i>, "<i>ni&ntilde;a o ni&ntilde;o grande"</i>, <i>x&#45; lo'bayen</i> <i>wa t&aacute;ankelem,</i> "se&ntilde;orita o joven", y <i>nojoch m&aacute;ak</i>, "gran persona". De este &uacute;ltimo es donde parten los conocimientos ling&uuml;&iacute;sticos m&aacute;s especializados sobre la ritualidad, el conocimiento del mundo, del tiempo y de la misma vida del <i>w&iacute;inik</i>, "ser humano". Aqu&iacute; se destacan las dos fuerzas que se&ntilde;ala Bruner (1983) para el aprendizaje del uso del lenguaje: primero, la concepci&oacute;n de que "la lengua sale", que ser&iacute;a para Bruner la fuerza "interna de empuje" (el Dispositivo de Adqusici&oacute;n del Lenguaje innato); la otra se refiere a la segunda etapa de la crianza del habla, "el habla se saca", lo que es para Bruner la fuerza que "estira", la presencia de un ambiente de apoyo.</font></p>  	    <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">Por otro lado, aqu&iacute; podemos descubrir la importancia del <i>u j&oacute;ok'ol t'aan</i> para el ser humano, ya que a trav&eacute;s de ella y con ella el entendimiento y el pensamiento nacen y crecen paralelamente; tambi&eacute;n en ella la lengua cumple la funci&oacute;n de la comunicaci&oacute;n y la cognici&oacute;n: entendimiento y pensamiento, representaci&oacute;n del <i>ch'&iacute;ijil</i>, "crecimiento o desarrollo" del individuo en la sociedad, se&ntilde;alado por Garton (1994) en sus estudios sobre el desarrollo del lenguaje y la cognici&oacute;n.</font></p>  	    <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">La propuesta de conocer los m&eacute;todos propios de la ense&ntilde;anza o adquisici&oacute;n de la lenguas ind&iacute;genas ha sido cuestionada por Aguirre (2002) en Colombia y ha sido tratada por Galdames y otros (2008) en la b&uacute;squeda del mejoramiento de las actividades docentes respecto a la ense&ntilde;anza de lenguas ind&iacute;genas.
