Mi intención es presentar las claves del planteamiento metafilosófico de Cavell, con el objetivo de desarrollar posteriormente su concepción del arte cinematográfico como un tipo de praxis filosófica particular, fundada en la tesis de que el cine puede concebirse como un &#8220;medio de pensamiento&#8221; adecuado para afrontar algunos problemas filosóficos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: In this paper, some fundamental characteristics of the conception of philosophy defended by Stanley Cavell will be briefly explained, with special attention to his claim of cinema as a philosophical agent. The aim of the article is to expose synthetically some keys of Cavell&#8217;s metaphilosophical ap-proach, in order to develop his conception of film art as a type of particular philosophical praxis, based on the fact that cinema can be conceived as an adequate &#8220;medium of thought&#8221; capable of dealing with many philosophical problems.]]></p></abstract>
