Este arti&#769;culo responde a esta pregunta tomando como punto de observacio&#769;n la pandemia por la Covid-19 y la presio&#769;n que induce en el orden global y en el Estado-nacio&#769;n. A partir de una descripcio&#769;n del uso erra&#769;tico y fragmentario del poder para el manejo de la pandemia se examina la transformacio&#769;n de la soberani&#769;a en la historia de Estado nacional, se replantea la situacio&#769;n de los derechos humanos y la &#8220;brecha de la justicia&#8221; en este proceso y se ofrece una apreciacio&#769;n de las probables alternativas que se juegan en las tendencias globales del poder pu&#769;blico en la postpandemia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Is a post-national public sphere forming? This article answers this question based on the observation of the Covid-19 pandemic&#8217;s pressure on the global order and the nation-state. Using a description of the erratic and fragmented use of power for the management of the pandemic, this work examines the transformation of sovereignty in the history of the nation-state, addresses the situation of human rights and the &#8220;justice gap&#8221; present in this process anew, and offers an assessment of the probable alternatives at play in global trends shaping public power in the aftermath of the pandemic.]]></p></abstract>
