Por un lado, realiza una revisión teórica de la literatura científica sobre los paradigmas de la gobernanza; y por otro, ofrece resultados que muestran que las mejores prácticas incluyen: transparencia, toma de decisiones políticas, prevención del riesgo, seguros, manejo del modelo fiduciario, controles de inversión, regulación, supervisión y restricción a intervenciones discrecionales mediante ordenamientos legales.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The objective of this text is to present an analysis of the best practices of pension fund governance in the international context and to structure a referential framework for the orientation of public policy of pension institutes. On the one hand, it performs a theoretical review of the scientific literature on governance paradigms, and on the other, it offers results that specify best practices including: transparency, political decision-making, risk prevention, insurance, management of the fiduciary model, investment controls, regulation, supervision and restriction to discretionary measures through legal regulations.]]></p></abstract>
