La perspectiva que puede ofrecer el derecho comparado para la consecución de esta finalidad es de importancia trascendental para este artículo, por lo que se consideran las corrientes de pensamiento y los precedentes judiciales que han influenciado al derecho antimonopolio estadounidense; asimismo, se analizan los precedentes judiciales mexicanos relacionados con el modelo de Estado de regulador. Se concluye que la Comisión Federal de Competencia Económica tiene un mandato constitucional exclusivo para ocuparse de asuntos del derecho de la competencia, que se pretende complementar en este artículo con una interpretación que le permita desplegar sus facultades constitucionales de una manera constructiva y progresiva, pero también en colaboración con las otras autoridades reguladoras.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article has the purpose of identifying the scope of the regulatory powers of the Federal Economic Competition Commission to implement the competition policy of Mexico. The perspective that comparative law may offer for the advancement of this purpose is of momentous importance for this article, thus the currents of thought and judicial precedents that have influenced American antitrust law are considered; likewise, the Mexican judicial precedents related with the Regulatory State model are analyzed. It is concluded that the Federal Economic Competition Commission has an exclusive constitutional mandate to look after matters of competition law, which is intended to be complemented in this paper with an interpretation that enables it to deploy its constitutional faculties in a constructive and progressive manner, but also in collaboration with the other regulatory agencies.]]></p></abstract>
