<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0035-001X2012000500005&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S0035-001X2012000500005&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S0035-001X2012000500005&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[En este trabajo presentamos un estudio comparativo de la degradación de celdas solares de película delgada de CdS/CdTe, con el Sulfuro de Cadmio (CdS) depositado por las técnicas Depósito por Baño Químico (CdS-CBD) y Transporte de Vapor en Espacio Cercano (CdS-CSVT), en ambos casos la capa de Teluro de Cadmio (CdTe) fue depositada por CSVT y tanto el CdS como el CdTe fueron sometidos al mismo tratamiento térmico (TT) con Cloruro de Cadmio (CdCl2). En las celdas solares CdS-CBD, el CdS fue depositado a diferentes relaciones de azufre con respecto al cadmio (S/Cd) en el baño químico; mientras que en las celdas solares CdS-CSVT, el CdS fue depositado a diferentes tiempos, para lograr espesores similares a las celdas solares CdS-CBD. La eficiencia fotovoltaica inicial de la mejor celda solar CdS-CBD fue de 12.3% para la muestra de CdS con relación S/Cd=5:1, mientras que la eficiencia fotovoltaica inicial de la mejor celda solar CdS-CSVT fue de 11.2% para la muestra de CdS con espesor de 140 nm antes del TT-CdCl2. Las celdas solares CdS-CBD y CdS-CSVT obtenidas hace 6 años fueron periódicamente caracterizadas por transmitancia (óptica, fotoluminiscencia, eficiencia cuóntica espectral (QE) y corriente en funci´n del voltaje (I vs. V); las mediciones muestran la degradación de estos dispositivos fotovoltaicos sometidos a la intemperie.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[In this work we presented a comparative study of the degradation of thin films solar cells of CdS/CdTe, with the Cadmium Sulfide (CdS) deposited by Chemical Bath Deposition (CdS-CBD) and Closed Space Vapor Transport (CdS-CSVT) techniques, in both cases the Cadmium Telluride (CdTe) thin film was deposited by CSVT and both the CdS and CdTe were submitted at the same heat treatment (TT) with Cadmium Chloride (CdCl2). In the CdS-CBD solar cells, the CdS was deposited at different relations of sulfur with respect to cadmium (S/Cd) in chemical bath; wherever the CdS-CSVT solar cells, the CdS was deposited at different times for obtained the similar thickness to CdS-CBD solar cells. The initial photovoltaic efficiency of the best CdS-CBD solar cells was 12.3% for the sample with relation S/Cd=5:1 and the initial photovoltaic efficiency of the best CdS-CSVT solar cells was 11.2% for CdS sample with the thickness of 140 nm before TT-CdCl2. The solar cells CdS-CDB and CdS-CSVT obtained 6 years ago were characterization regularly by optical transmittance, photoluminescence, spectral quantum efficiency (QE) and current function voltage (I vs. V); the measurements shows the degradation in these photovoltaic devices submitted at exposed to the weather.]]></p></abstract>
