Se estudia la estructura, morfología y magnetismo de las muestras sintetizadas. Los patrones de difracción de rayos-X muestran que para x = 0.1 se tiene la presencia de una sola fase con estructura perovskita, mientras que para x &#8805; 0.2 las muestras consisten de una fase perovskita ferromagnética y dos fases no magnéticas correspondientes a Ag metálica y Ag1.8Mn8O16. El análisis de x= 0.1 por SEM revela que la morfología y tamaño de las partículas es aleatorio, resultado del método de preparación. Las muestras de Sm1-xAg xMnO3 de x entre 0.1 y 0.5 muestran, que aplicando campos de 10 Teslas, éstas no alcanzan un valor de saturación. El comportamiento ferromagnético de Sm1-xAg xMnO3 se ve disminuido por el aumento de la composición de Ag.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[A series of mixed oxides of general formula Sm1-xAg xMnO3 with perovskite structure were prepared by first time by conventional solid-state reaction processing. The structure, morphology and magnetism of the samples are investigated. The X-ray diffraction patterns show that the x = 0.1 sample is a single perovskite structure, while x &#8805; 0.2, samples consist of a ferromagnetic perovskite phase and two nonmagnetic phases, Ag and Ag1.8Mn8O16. The ferromagnetic behavior of Sm1-xAg xMnO3 decrease with increase of Ag composition. The SEM analysis when x = 0.1 revealed that the random distribution of morphology and size of particles result of preparation method. The samples of Sm1-xAg xMnO3 by x between 0.1 and 0.5 show that applying 10 T fields these cannot reach a saturation value.]]></p></abstract>

Se estudia la estructura, morfolog&iacute;a y magnetismo de las muestras sintetizadas.
