El láser incluye un segmento de fibra dopada con erbio y un interferómetro de Sagnac que actúa como filtro espectral, formado por 7 m de fibra de alta birrefringencia (HiBi, High Birefringence) y un acoplador simétrico. Dependiendo del ajuste de placas retardadoras en el anillo y en el filtro de Sagnac, se puede obtener laseo para una longitud de onda sintonizable o a varias longitudes de onda simultáneamente. Además analizamos los efectos de la temperatura sobre la respuesta del filtro de Sagnac. Se observaron regímenes de sintonización de una longitud de onda y múltiples longitudes de onda simultáneamente al variar la temperatura.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[We demonstrated experimentally a simple configuration to perform wavelength-tuning and multi-wavelength operation in an Erbium-doped fiber ring laser that includes a fiber-optic Sagnac interferometer as spectral filter formed by 7 m of high birefringence fiber and a symmetric coupler. We analyzed the temperature effect on the Sagnac filter response. Through temperature control, we were able to perform wavelength-tuning and multi-wavelength operation in the laser.]]></p></abstract>

<body><![CDATA[<p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">&nbsp;</font></p>     <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2"><b>Resumen</b></font></p>     <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">Demostramos experimentalmente una configuraci&oacute;n sencilla para el desarrollo de un laser de anillo toda fibra en el regimen de m&uacute;ltiples longitudes de onda. El l&aacute;ser incluye un segmento de fibra dopada con erbio y un interfer&oacute;metro de Sagnac que act&uacute;a como filtro espectral, formado por 7 m de fibra de alta birrefringencia (HiBi, <i>High Birefringence</i>) y un acoplador sim&eacute;trico. Dependiendo del ajuste de placas retardadoras en el anillo y en el filtro de Sagnac, se puede obtener laseo para una longitud de onda sintonizable o a varias longitudes de onda simult&aacute;neamente. Adem&aacute;s analizamos los efectos de la temperatura sobre la respuesta del filtro de Sagnac.
