La distribución espacial del pozo de potencial fue calculada con la teoría de fluido, donde además de las dos especies iónicas se incluyeron dos especies electrónicas con diferentes temperaturas y densidades. La profundidad y ancho del pozo medidos experimentalmente se comparan bien con los resultados teóricos. Midiendo la amplificación de las ondas de prueba, excitadas localmente dentro del plasma, hemos calculado la aceleración del chorro de iones en el pozo de potencial. A partir de estas mediciones calculamos la variación espacial de la velocidad del chorro dentro del pozo.]]></p></abstract>

The space distribution of the potential well was calculated with the fluid theory where, in addition to the two ionic species, two electronic species with different temperatures and densities were included. The width and depth of the well, which were measured experimentally, were compared with the theoretical results. Amplification of locally excited test waves within the plasma was measured, allowing us to calculate the ion beam acceleration in the potential well. From these measurements we calculated the space variation of ion beam velocity within the well.]]></p></abstract>

<body><![CDATA[<p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">&nbsp;</font></p>     <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2"><b>Resumen</b></font></p>     <p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">Se presenta un estudio te&oacute;rico &#150; experimental del pozo de potencial que se produce detr&aacute;s de la onda de choque excitada en el <i>sistema chorro&#150;plasma. </i>La distribuci&oacute;n espacial del pozo de potencial fue calculada con la teor&iacute;a de fluido, donde adem&aacute;s de las dos especies i&oacute;nicas se incluyeron dos especies electr&oacute;nicas con diferentes temperaturas y densidades. La profundidad y ancho del pozo medidos experimentalmente se comparan bien con los resultados te&oacute;ricos. Midiendo la amplificaci&oacute;n de las ondas de prueba, excitadas localmente dentro del plasma, hemos calculado la aceleraci&oacute;n del chorro de iones en el pozo de potencial.
