Inicialmente se obtuvo un recubrimiento de circonia, el cual se sometió a un tratamiento térmico a 400 °C para su consolidación. Posteriormente se deposita un segundo recubrimiento de circonia con la finalidad de homogeneizarlo y cubrir totalmente la placa de acero 316L. Los análisis XPS muestran que sobre la primera capa de circonia se encuentran los elementos Fe, Cr, O y Zr. En esta primera capa se forman principalmente los compuestos Cr2O3, Fe2O3 y ZrO2. Mientras que en el segundo recubrimiento sólo se observan O y Zr, de manera que la superficie está formada de ZrO2.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The present research involved zirconia coatings prepared using electrophoretic deposition (EPD) on 316L stainless steel, via hydrolysis of ZrOCl2 aqueous solution. Initially, a first zirconia thin film was obtained and treated at 400 °C for consolidation. Then a second zirconia film was deposited to obtain a homogeneous and fully covered 316L stainless steel plate. The XPS analyses show that on the first zirconia film, the elements Fe, Cr, O and Zr are present. In this first film the compounds Cr2O3, Fe2O3 and ZrO2 are formed. While in the second film only the Zr and O are observed so that the surface is formed by ZrO2.]]></p></abstract>

Inicialmente se obtuvo un recubrimiento de circonia, el cual se someti&oacute; a un tratamiento t&eacute;rmico a 400 &#176;C para su consolidaci&oacute;n. Posteriormente se deposita un segundo recubrimiento de circonia con la finalidad de homogeneizarlo y cubrir totalmente la placa de acero 316L. Los an&aacute;lisis XPS muestran que sobre la primera capa de circonia se encuentran los elementos Fe, Cr, O y Zr.
