Con sustento en lo anterior, buscaré elaborar cómo, a partir de nuevas investigaciones desde y con lo visual, percibí otras potencias presentes en la agencia de los trabajos artísticos, los cuales aluden no solamente a lo discursivo, sino a los imaginarios, a la dimensión interagencial y hasta a reflexiones sobre el Antropoceno. Estas nuevas cuestiones puestas por los trabajos artísticos, me llevan a buscar comprender sus agencias no solamente al nivel de su circulación en el espacio institucional, sino, igualmente, a observar cómo estos son productores de potencias imagéticas en una disputa por imaginarios de futuro. La conclusión de esta reflexión es pensar cúal es la sociología del arte en la cual estoy interesada realizar en la actualidad: una con necesidad tanto de un intenso y amplio debate interdisciplinario como de una metodología que considere no solo lo discursivo/semiótico, como la imagen en sí, comprendiendo lo visual como ente/ser capaz de acción/transformación social desde sus propias materialidades.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In this article, I aim to conduct a review of my doctoral thesis on the agency of artistic works, nearly ten years later, updating this sociological premise to add complexity. Building upon this, I will seek to elaborate on how, through new research involving the visual, I perceived other powers at play in the agency of artistic works that refer not only to the discursive, but also to the imaginary, interagency dimension, and even reflections on the post-human. These new issues raised by artistic works lead me to seek an understanding of their agencies not only at the level of their circulation in institutional spaces but also to observe how they produce imagetic powers in a contest for future imaginaries. The conclusion of this reflection is to ponder on the sociology of art that I am interested in pursuing today: one that requires both intense and broad interdisciplinary debate and a methodology that considers not only the discursive/semiotic, like the image itself, but also understands the visual as an entity/being capable of social action/transformation from its own materialities.]]></p></abstract>
