Se realizó un estudio de caso, mediante métodos mixtos, de las dos primeras generaciones, explorando cómo el éxito estudiantil (integración académica y social, y empoderamiento) favorece la inclusión. Los resultados muestran un cuidadoso diseño del programa en sus dispositivos de equidad (inducción, apoyos económicos y académicos). Sin embargo, el éxito estudiantil exige un desproporcionado esfuerzo personal y familiar para responder a los estándares institucionales. El programa satisface perspectivas académicas y profesionales, pero subsisten barreras económicas, académicas, psicológicas y de compromiso institucional que entorpecen la inclusión social.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Analisam-se a magnitude do programa &#8220;Se você quiser, você pode!&#8220; na inclusão social de uma universidade de elite. Foi realizado um estudo de caso, utilizando métodos mistos, das duas primeiras gerações, explorando como o sucesso dos alunos (integração acadêmica e social, e empoderamento) favorece a inclusão. Os resultados mostram um desenho cuidadoso do programa em seus dispositivos de equidade (indução, apoio econômico e acadêmico). No entanto, o sucesso do aluno requer um esforço pessoal e familiar desproporcional para atender aos padrões institucionais. <abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In this article, the authors analyze the impact of the &#8220;Si quieres, ¡Puedes!&#8221; (&#8220;If you want, you can&#8221;) program on social inclusion at an elite university in Mexico. A mixed-methods case study of the first two generations was carried out, exploring how the students&#8217; success (academic and social integration and empowerment) favors inclusion. The results reveal a careful design of the program in its equity mechanisms (induction, financial, and academic support). However, they also highlight that the students' success requires a disproportionate personal and family effort to meet institutional standards. The program meets the academic and professional perspectives, but there are still economic, academic, psychological, and institutional commitment barriers that hinder social inclusion.]]></p></abstract>
