Organizamos los temas con base en los conceptos y procedimientos, las representaciones y la fenomenología relacionados con la estadística en educación primaria. Identificamos diferencias y similitudes entre los temas considerados en Colombia y los temas que se abordan en los países participantes en TIMSS 2015. Encontramos que la estadística se incluye en los currículos de la mayoría de estos países. Principalmente, los temas se centran en las representaciones gráfica y tabular, en el concepto de media y en la fenomenología se hace referencia a la estadística para organizar la información. Estos resultados pueden generar discusiones de carácter curricular y motivar a realizar estudios similares en otros países.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In this article, we make a curricular review on topics included in statistics in primary school in Colombia and in the 56 countries that participated in TIMSS 2015. We describe the topics based on the concepts and procedures, representations and phenomenology related to statistics in primary education. We identify differences and similarities between the topics considered in Colombia and the topics from the countries participating in TIMSS 2015. We found that statistics is included in the curricula of most countries and in Colombia. The topics focus on graphical and tabular representations, on the concept of mean, and reference is made in phenomenology to statistics to organize information. These results may generate curricular discussions and motivate similar studies in other countries.]]></p></abstract>

Identificamos diferenças e semelhanças entre os tópicos considerados na Colômbia e os tópicos abordados nos países participantes do TIMSS 2015. Constatamos que a estatística está incluída nos currículos da maioria dos países e na Colômbia. Os tópicos centram-se nas representações gráficas e tabulares, no conceito de média, e na fenomenologia faz-se referência à estatística para organizar a informação. Nous décrivons les sujets sur la base des concepts et des procédures, des représentations et de la phénoménologie liés aux statistiques dans l&#8217;enseignement primaire. Nous identifions les différences et les similitudes entre les sujets considérés en Colombie et les sujets abordés dans les pays participant à TIMSS 2015. Nous avons constaté que les statistiques sont incluses dans les programmes scolaires de la plupart des pays et de la Colombie. Les sujets se concentrent sur les représentations graphiques et tabulaires, sur le concept de moyenne, et la phénoménologie fait référence aux statistiques pour organiser l&#8217;information.
