La investigación busca identificar cómo las identidades sociales configuran las identidades matemáticas de los sujetos y cómo la construcción y negociación de identidad social afecta a la interacción en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en el aula. Basados en una metodología cualitativa se han descrito escenarios donde la identidad social se actualiza en el aprendizaje de la matemática y cómo ésta configura elementos facilitadores u obstaculizadores para el aprendizaje. Los resultados ponen de manifiesto las relaciones con los saberes matemáticos, y cómo sujetos de un mismo grupo social y/o cultural se relacionan con las matemáticas de diferentes modos según información, experiencia y posicionamiento de identidad.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article investigates the Adult Education in Brazil. The research seeks to identify how social identities shape subjects&#8217; mathematical identities and how the development and negotiation of social identity affect interaction in the Teaching - Learning Process in the classroom. Based on qualitative methodology were described scenarios where the social identity updates on mathematic learning and how this identity configures facilitating or blocking elements of the learning. The results demonstrated the relations between the investigated subjects and the mathematical knowledge and how the subjects of the same social and cultural group related to mathematics in different ways taking into consideration information, experience and identity positioning.]]></p></abstract>

La recherche étudie comment les identités sociales configurent les identités mathématiques des individus et comment la construction et la négociation de l&#8217;identité sociale affectent l&#8217;interaction dans le processus d&#8217;enseignement et d&#8217;apprentissage en classe. Basé sur une méthodologie qualitative, des scénarios ont été décrits dans lesquels l&#8217;identité sociale est mise à jour, à partir de l&#8217;apprentissage des mathématiques, et comment cette identité configure des éléments facilitant ou gênant l&#8217;apprentissage. Les résultats ont mis en évidence les relations entre les sujets étudiés et les connaissances mathématiques et la manière dont les sujets d&#8217;un même groupe social et / ou culturel sont liés aux mathématiques de différentes manières en fonction de l&#8217;information, de l&#8217;expérience et du positionnement identitaire.]]></p></abstract>
