Por esto, el propósito de esta investigación es caracterizar al conocimiento puesto en uso, en la medición de distancias inaccesibles, en la obra Elucidatio Fabricae Ususque Astrolabii de Johann Stöffler, publicada en 1513. El modelo teórico utilizado considera el estudio de la constitución del saber a través del análisis de su génesis, desarrollo y transversalidad. Los resultados revelan, en la obra analizada, una episteme de la medición de distancias inaccesibles que incluye tanto la búsqueda de una razón conveniente para realizar la medición, como el análisis dinámico del comportamiento de las sombras o los rayos visuales en la estimación de inclinaciones. Esta episteme es determinante para la comprensión de estos conocimientos matemáticos en la resolución de problemas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The study of mathematical knowledge in different contexts has acquired relevance due to the current interest in students&#8217; ability to use mathematics in solving real life problems. Thus, the purpose of this research is to characterize the knowledge in use in the measurement of inaccessible distances in Johann Stöffler'sElucidatio Fabricoe Ususque Astrolabii, published in 1513. The theoretical model used considers the study of the constitution of knowledge through the analysis of its genesis, development and transversality. The results reveal in the analyzed work an episteme of the measurement of inaccessible distances that includes both the search for a suitable reason to carry out the measurement and the dynamic analysis of the behavior of the shadows or the visual rays in the estimation of inclinations. This episteme is critical for the understanding of this mathematical knowledge in problem solving]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O estudo do conhecimento matemático em diferentes contextos torna-se importante por causa do interesse atual em que os alunos possam usar a matemática na resolução de problemas reais. Portanto, o propósito desta pesquisa é caracterizar o conhecimento colocado em uso na medição de distâncias inacessíveis na obra Elucidatio Fabricoe Ususque Astrolabii de Johann Stöffler, publicado em 1513. O modelo teórico utilizado considera o estudo da constituição do saber por meio da análise de sua gênese, desenvolvimento e transversalidade. Os resultados revelam uma episteme da medição de distâncias inacessíveis na obra analisada, que inclui tanto uma busca de -uma razão adequada para realizar a medição, quanto a análise dinâmica do comportamento das sombras ou os raios visuais na estimativa de inclinações. <abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé L'étude du savoir mathématique concernant différents contextes est de plus en plus important, en raison de l&#8217;intérêt actuel que les étudiants peuvent trouver à utiliser les mathématiques dans la résolution de problèmes de la vie réelle. Pour cela, le but de cette recherche est de caractériser les connaissances mises en &#339;uvre, dans la mesure de distances inaccessibles, dans le travail d&#8217;Elucidatio Fabricoe Ususque Astrolabi de Johann Stöffler publié en 1513. Le modèle théorique utilisé considère l&#8217;étude de la constitution du savoir à partir de l&#8217;analyse de sa genèse, de son développement et de sa transversalité. Les résultats montrent dans le travail analysé l´existence d´un épistème de la mesure de distances inaccessibles, qui comprennent tant la recherche d&#8217;un rapport souhaitable pour réaliser la mesure, comme l&#8217;analyse dynamique du comportement des ombres ou des rayons visuelles dans l&#8217;estimation de ces comportements.
